Welcome to Phases 2 to 4 of the
RSE Program!
Here's a quick guide to help you navigate these phases and ensure a smooth journey towards becoming a skilled and responsible driver
Program Overview:
Phases 2 to 4 consist of alternating in-car sessions (Sessions 1 to 15), each lasting 55 minutes, including briefing and debriefing.
Online Theory Classes
During your theory classes, keep your cameras ON the whole class (Meetings are held in Focus Mode), sit at a desk or table in a quiet place. There is no learning on the go; choose a quiet place where you can focus. Your instructor is giving you real driving knowledge; show up like it matters.
Theory and driving classes alternate, so after a theory class, ensure to book your next driving class to keep progressing. Theory classes will only be held once or twice a month, with breaks in between phases. Driving classes are not held weekly. Over 10 to 12 months, you'll have 15 lessons, averaging 1 to 2 lessons per month.
Progress Monitoring:
Each phase has a minimum duration set by the government. If you're progressing quickly, we may adapt the schedule to ensure compliance with the rules. Conversely, if progress is slow, we'll make adjustments to help you catch up.
Breaks between Phases:
Enjoy a few weeks of free time between Phases 2, 3, and 4. Use this break to practice driving with your accompanying riders.
In-Car Evaluations:
You'll undergo in-car evaluations during sessions #5, #10, and #15 to assess your progress.
Booking Calendar and Scheduling:
Utilize the booking calendar responsibly. It’s your tool for scheduling your driving classes. No reminders will be sent, so make a note to check the calendar after each driving class to book your next driving lesson.
If you're unable to book a driving class, don't panic. The program is intended to progress slowly. Take your time and schedule at a pace that suits you.
Moving Forward:
About 10 months after you get your learner's license, you can go for your theory exam at the SAAQ.
Once you finish the program, you can take your driving exam at the SAAQ. Remember, you'll need an attestation of completion from us for the driving exam.
Important Note:
Once you receive your learner's licence, inform the school via text message or WhatsApp at (514) 803-7464 or by email at desiredrivingschool@gmail.com. You'll then be added to the list to receive access to the booking calendar via text message.
